RENOVATION + INTERIORS
We adore getting to design renovation projects for clients. Picking hard finishes and building the backdrop for all the beautiful furnishings and accessories to come is one of the ways we feel like design can have the most transformative impact. The best time to hire us is before you have signed on with a contractor or builder.
FULL ROOM FURNISHINGS
Already have the hard finishes in the space to your liking? We'd be thrilled to help you design a full room of furnishings that fits your style and needs perfectly. We are happy to work in a few family heirlooms or favorite pieces and find our best outcomes occur when clients trust us to design and edit to create their dream room.
COMMERICAL/ HOSPITALITY
As a design studio heavily inspired by our love of traveling, we can barely contain our excitement around hospitality spaces. Our current portfolio includes shops and vacation rentals, and we are happy to consider your hospitality or retail project. We love the creativity that can play out when it is not someone's everyday home.
THE RETREAT WAY

Our process has been developed after years of work with a variety of clients. We find we have the most successful and stunning outcomes when clients trust and respect the steps we take to design their spaces.
01/ Getting to Know Each Other:
15 minute phone consultation to discuss the project and/or our first meeting: on site and in person (ideally) to take photos, measurements, and learn about your style and needs.

02/ Set the Tone:
Our first bit of work results in a inspirational presentation where we present and agree upon the tone and vibe for the project. This overarching concept will guide every decision we make moving forward in the process.

03/ Design:
Once the tone is set, we start sourcing and shopping. We present a moodboard for each space, along with a layout. We build in some room for an alternate or two as needed.
​
04/ Ordering:
After the final design is selected, we invoice and order all the goodies.
​
05/ Install:
Once all has arrived, we install, style and photograph your space.
